It appears that France is beginning to respond to the problems of having an incompatible subculture living within their borders. I wonder whether this is in part a response to the rioting they have had the last two summers, and the accusations of racism among those of French heritage. I have read that even those who are French-born and -educated have difficulty being accepted and finding employment.
What do you all think of this action, and the underlying logic?
("...France’s highest administrative court upheld a decision to deny citizenship to Ms. Silmi, 32, on the ground that her “radical” practice of Islam was incompatible with French values like equality of the sexes.")
No Romeo
I see Liberty posted this on Thursday. (I'm still working my way back through the week.) Sorry for the redundancy!

No, it's good you posted it here. It is only getting the liberal slant on the dark side. The French are evil for asserting themselves sort of thing.
2It was in the foreign press a week ago- Liberty and Citizen are at least 24 hours or behind in posting current news.
3But I loved this. The French will end up being the first line in the resistance. They are fed up with the riots and the threats. Basically if you move West, adapt.

oops i hit it twice. And Brendel this is not evil the French are very much Separation of religion and State. Were you thrilled with the request in FL. that they should be able to take the driver's license photo in full veil? The Swiss are trying to pass the Minaret law. Europe is slowly waking up.
5No, I don't think it's evil. I was referring to most of the posts on Citizen.
6Oh in that case- SORRY! and SO TRUE!
7It's okay.
8Thanks
9Good point, Brendel, we can have a little more forthright discussion here.
I'm waiting for England to wake up, too. I think they have even bigger problems there. Even the Bishop of Rochester has publicly stated that there are Muslim neighborhoods that are "no-go" zones for outsiders.

I have also seen actual footage of terrorist training being conducted on Muslim "retreats" in British parks and forests.

How long is it going to take for people to "get" it?
(Need a :dumbass: emoticon, this will have to do:
