The following is a funny and true story shared by KC Williams who teaches AP Government at Santa Fe High School. In one of KC's classes, they were discussing the qualifications to be president of the United States...It was pretty simple. The candidate must be a natural born citizen of at least 35 years of age.
However, one girl in the class immediately started in on how unfair was the requirement to be a natural born citizen. In short, her opinion was this requirement prevented many capable individuals from becoming president. KC and the class were just taking it in and letting her rant, but everyone's jaw hit the floor when she wrapped up her argument by stating ....
"What makes a natural born citizen any more qualified to lead this country than one born by c-section."
And someday she'll vote.

Her relatives already do!
4That's great! I love it.
5Hee! My daughter and I were both C-section babies so I guess we won't be allowed to ever run for president.

This is great, and reminds me of one of my sisters (Not skb. I don't need another smack)
9yikes!
10LMAO I wasn't looking to the C-Section line, I was waiting for her to say something about being adopted. I think that comes from being an adopted kid and always hearing my biological parents referred to as my "natural" parents, which pi**es me off.

omg!
12This made me crack up!
13Wow and here I thought she was going to make a case for naturalized citizens who have two American parents or kids who immigrated early or the flaw of citizenship being contingent on being born On US soil despite if both parents are here illegally.
Oh my stars...she's an AP student? The standards must be lower since I left.
14i love reading these. really brightens my day
15And you say this is the hope of the free world some day? Oh PLEASE!
